Senior Vice President, Creative Services, On-Air Promotion

Creative leader of a team of 20 delivering standout entertainment marketing campaigns for on-air, digital, social media, ad sales, consumer marketing, affiliate advertising, and international sales.  

  • Produced 360° advertising for 90 annual first-run movies & specials and 4 original series that drove year-to-year ratings growth by double digits & catapulted Hallmark Channel to #1 in cable in W25-54.

  • Developed short and long-term promotional strategies that brought Hallmark Movies & Mysteries its most successful year, making it the fastest growing entertainment network of 2016.

  • Launched a “12 Days to Christmas” campaign that increased W25-54 viewership by 17%.

  • Re-launched a floundering Season 2 series, transforming it into a Season 3 ratings hit.

  • Created an innovative three-phase launch campaign for a brand-new series that resulted in record ratings and the lowest median age demographic in Hallmark history.

  • Independently renegotiated announcer and music library contracts, reducing costs by 44%.

  • Created an internal special projects team tasked with producing innovative BTS content, resulting in a 200% increase in digital and social video views.

  • Boosted productivity and efficiency by implementing an editing training program for producer staff.

Managed primetime comedy and drama series, providing input on behalf of the network at table reads, run-thrus and tapings. Assisted writers in formulating character arcs and storylines.  Hired writers and directors, scheduled episodes, lobbied for promo and publicity coverage, coordinated product integration, mediated standards issues, and collaborated with business affairs on budget and breakage issues.

 

Vice President, Entertainment Marketing  

Strategic and creative advertising and promotion for series, movies, and mini-series advertising and branding. Demonstrated leadership ability to oversee in-house staff of fourteen as well as out-of-house ad agency.  Managed fiscal responsibilities for multi-million-dollar ad campaigns.  

 

Creative & Special Projects Director, On-Air Promotion    

Drove creative for original shoot campaigns and daily generic and topical promotion for NBC series.  Managed budgets and in-house staff.  Hired directors, writers, and key crewmembers.
